How do I find my county's parcel layer?

Search the web for "your county GIS parcels ArcGIS REST".
Open the county's ArcGIS REST directory (the URL contains /arcgis/rest/services).
Find a service and layer named Parcels, Tax Parcels, Cadastral, or similar. Its page must say Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon.
Copy that page's URL (it ends in a number, like /MapServer/0) into the field above and press Test.

No public layer? Download your county's parcel shapefile, convert it to GeoJSON (QGIS or mapshaper.org), and load it as a file.
